The Women in Data Science (WiDS) initiative aims to inspire and educate data scientists from around the world, regardless of gender, and support women in the field of data. WiDS began as a one-day technical conference at Stanford in November 2015. It is now a global movement that includes multiple initiatives around the world organized by WiDS ambassadors.
